Sandeep Kumar Chaudhary is a public health professional with more than six years of experience in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCHA+N) programs. He joined the Azim Premji Foundation in November 2024 and is currently working with the Health Team in Banswara, Rajasthan, supporting community health and nutrition initiatives.

एक सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी (CHO) ने बांसवाड़ा ज़िले के दूर-दराज़, पहाड़ी इलाक़ों में फैले छोटे-छोटे गाँवों में स्वास्थ्य कैम्प आयोजित किया। यहाँ उन्होंने इसी स्वास्थ्य कैम्प के बारे में अपने अनुभव साझा किए हैं। यहाँ वे बताती हैं कि किस तरह इन कैम्पों ने स्वास्थ्य के प्रति लोगों के नज़रिए को बदला है और गैर-संचारी रोगों (NCDs) की शुरुआती पहचान और उनके प्रबंधन में अहम भूमिका निभाई है।

ಬನ್ಸ್ವಾರಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ, ಗುಡ್ಡಗಾಡು ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು (ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಟಿ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್-ಸಿ ಎಚ್ ಒ) ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕವಲ್ಲದ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು (ನಾನ್- ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಕೇಬಲ್ ಡಿಸೀಸಸ್-ಎನ್ ಸಿ ಡಿ) ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲೇ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
