Dr. Namita Chandy

Dr. Namita Chandy is an Azim Premji Foundation Health Equity Fellow, currently working with underserved communities in Kalahandi, Odisha. She holds an MD in Community Medicine and has experience in public health, primary healthcare and community-based programmes. Her fellowship has taken her from Gudalur, Tamil Nadu, to Odisha, deepening her interest in equitable and community-centred healthcare while continuing to learn from the communities she works with. Outside work, she enjoys travelling, getting lost in a good story and exploring different cuisines.
